The November 2017 board meeting will be held November 13 at the Cascades Library.
The board meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of each month, or the 1st Monday when the 2nd is a holiday. Meetings are held at the Cascades Library.
Our management company's corporate offices are in Longwood, Florida and are currently without power due to Hurricane Irma. They are closed today (Monday, Sept. 11). Sentry currently has a status message at the top (above the logo and navigation) of their web site www.sentrymgt.com.
It's possible that the storm will cause payments to be delayed or lost. We will of course waive any resulting late fees. Online assessment payments remain available.
The local offices are in Leesburg and will remain open and available per the normal schedule. The local office is reachable at 540-751-1888. Our manager is Joe Barrows at extension 56610. Please leave a message if prompted; managers are frequently on the properties they manage and thus out of the office.

The Pool Committee's next meeting is Thursday, September 28, 6pm at the pool.
Between 8AM and 4PM on September 13, our landscaping contractor will be performing tree elevation work (removing the lower branches on the trees) along Southern Oaks Terrace. During this work, there is no parking along Southern Oaks Terrace. Parked vehicles may be towed at the owner's risk and expense. Signs announcing this will be going up along Southern Oaks Terrace shortly.

The Pool Committee's August meeting was on Wednesday, August 23, 6pm at the pool.
The Grounds Committee's next meeting is Tuesday, August 29, 6pm at the pool, as part of its regular meeting schedule of every other Tuesday.
The Grounds Committee will meet this Saturday, August 12, 10:00 AM at the pool. Topics of discussion will include at least organizing the committee work, the upcoming meeting with Advantage, and various landscaping proposals.
With new members Rose and Chesleigh joining existing members Anne (chairperson) and Angela, the Grounds Committee can now finally act as a full committee.
The current-style passes from the previous few years remain valid. If your pass has your photo on the front and a bar code on the back, you do not need to get a new one. Please bring a government-issued photo ID (drivers license or ID card, passport, etc.) and, if that does not have your Westerley address, proof you live in Westerley (utility or mortgage statement with your address, lease, 1st page of Closing Disclosure form, etc.). We take a photo for the pass, and issue a pass to every family member who wants one, so please bring your entire family as well.
Starting in July 2017, the Board of Directors will meet on the 2nd Monday of each month. It turned out that the 1st Monday is too early to have financials ready. We haven't decided on what to do about Columbus Day yet.
The preferred meeting location for the summer is the Cascades Library and the next meeting date is Monday, July 11th.
