Board Special Meeting on 2020 Budget

When: Tuesday, October 22, 7pm
Where: Cascades Library, Meeting Room C (Conference Room) (Please check the display near the front desk in case the library moves us to a different room).

This meeting is limited to discussing only the budget. Like all Board meetings, it is open to Westerley homeowners and there will be an open forum at the start of the meeting. The open forum at this meeting will be limited to comments about the budget (the same topic as the meeting itself).

Pool Pass Schedule — June

If you do not have one of the current pool passes (issued for the last several years, the ones with your name & picture on the front and a bar code on the back), then come to the pool 6–7pm any Wednesday or Saturday this June to have one issued.

If you've misplaced your pass, please check the box at the pool to see if its there. If not, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. making sure to include your name and address; they can print you a new one without you having to come to one of the pass sessions.

There is no charge for pool passes.

July Board Meeting Moved and Rescheduled

The July Board of Directors meeting will be July 16th, 7pm at the Sterling Library (the one in the shopping center off Sterling Blvd). An agenda is not yet available, but should be sent to the discussion list once available.

Pool Committee Meeting on June 17

The Pool Committee is meeting Monday, June 17th, 6:30pm at the pool.

VDOT Road Work Scheduled Mid-June

VDOT’s contractor, Slurry Pavers, Inc., will be doing a slurry seal pavement preservation treatment the week of June 17th on the single-family home streets. A few days prior, they will put up no parking signs. Additionally, they will give everyone a handout with contact information.

The contractor provides an information site about the process called “Must Know Info”. They also have a YouTube video about the process.

Trash Schedule Changed this Week Due to Snow

Trash Away has put out a notice that due to the snow, all services this week will be delayed by one day. So our days this week should be Wednesday Jan. 15th and Saturday Jan. 19th (not Tuesday and Friday).

February 2019 Board Meeting

Please note the February 2019 meeting will be on Monday Feb. 11th, that's a day earlier than the normal schedule. We had to reschedule because the rooms were all booked.

Tree Recycling

All decorations (ornaments, tinsel, lights, etc.) must be removed. Recycling is only for natural trees, not artificial ones. The last remaining pickup date is Tuesday, January 15th Wednesday, January 16th.

After that, Loudoun County is offering free tree recycling at Claude Moore Park (Loudoun Park Lane entrance) from 7:00am through 5:00pm. This runs through January 20th. For details & additional locations, see Loudoun's Christmas Tree Recycling page.
