Board Meeting Schedule (as of July 2017)

Starting in July 2017, the Board of Directors will meet on the 2nd Monday of each month. It turned out that the 1st Monday is too early to have financials ready. We haven't decided on what to do about Columbus Day yet.

The preferred meeting location for the summer is the Cascades Library and the next meeting date is Monday, July 11th.

Pool Pass Dates (June)

The following are the pool pass issuing sessions for June, 2017. All of these are at the pool house.

The current-style passes from the previous few years remain valid. If your pass has your photo on the front and a bar code on the back, you do not need to get a new one. If you need a pass reprinted (lost or damaged), please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name and address. We can re-print and hold it for you at the pool house.

  • Saturday, June 17, 10:00–10:30 AM

Please bring a government-issued photo ID (drivers license or ID card, passport, etc.) and, if that does not have your Westerley address, proof you live in Westerley (utility or mortgage statement with your address, lease, 1st page of Closing Disclosure form, etc.). We take a photo for the pass, and issue a pass to every family member who wants one, so please bring your entire family as well.

There will be additional dates throughout the pool season.

New Board Meeting Schedule

Update: The June 5th meeting will be at Cascades Library, meeting room A.

Starting in June, the Board of Directors will meet on the 1st Monday of each month, except when that is a holiday. When the 1st Monday a holiday, the Board will meet on the 2nd Monday.

The summer meetings will be at Cascades Library.

Power Washing Tot Lot Pavers

A couple of the board members will be power washing the pavers at the tot lot on 6/11 @ 11:30. We welcome anyone that would like to come out and help us keep the tot lot looking good.

Pool Committee Meeting

The Pool Committee is holding its first meeting of 2017 to review and update the pool rules and regulations. Residents are invited to attend and comment during the open forum.

No meeting this Thursday, holiday hours

The board has canceled the December meeting, so there is no board meeting this Thursday, December 22. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the new year on January 26th.

Sentry, our management company, will close early this Friday, December 23rd. They will be closed Monday, December 26th and Monday, January 2nd.

Trash Away’s holiday schedule is available on their web site; according to that, our trash and recycling pickup should be unaffected and Christmas tree pickup dates are January 3rd and January 10th.

Temporary Closure of Intersection at Sweet Birch and Augusta

On Monday, August 29th (weather permitting) a contractor will be installing conduit under Sweet Birch Terrace near the intersection with Augusta Dr. Unfortunately, it was not possible to drill under the street, so they're excavating it.

This requires closing that section of the street. While the street is closed, please use the next entrance (Vermont Maple Terrace).

If the weather cooperates, the closure will only be on the 29th.

Letters are going out to everyone on Sweet Birch and Southern Magnolia.

Board meeting this Tuesday

The Board did not have quorum on its regularly scheduled date last week, so it is meeting on its rain date this Thursday instead. The meeting will be 7pm in the Dominion High School library.
